Term 3 in Room 1 and 2
It is hard to believe we are already at the end of Week 1! It
has been great to see everyone back at school this week well rested and keen
for learning. We are looking forward to meeting with you on Tuesday/Wednesday
next week at Interviews.
Here are some of the things that will be happening this term.
Science/Technology Topic - Milk
PE – Cross Country, Skipping, Swimming
Music – Folk Dance, Weekly singing
Health – Relating to others
Maths – Measurement – (weight, length, volume)
Oral Language – Performing plays, Mandarin, Maori
We are also introducing PMP (Perceptual Motor Programme) into
our programme this term. The programme involves children rotating around
activity stations that develop a range of skills such as co-ordination,
balance, eye tracking, locomotion and fitness. We will be running the programme
every Monday and Tuesday afternoon 1:45 – 2:45pm.
