Anzac Assembly


The crosses are for the people who died in the war. Shanelle
I think the ANZAC assembly was fun because we did singing. Kora
The people put the crosses down into the grass and we saw some crosses inside the hall. Michael

I spoke about the soldier called Henry Clay Ravenwood. He died on 6th May. Izzy

Anzac biscuits

Connor-I shared with my biscuit with my friends because they thought it looked yum.
Jesse- I saw the hot water fizz up because it had baking soda in it.
Charlotte- I liked the biscuits because we put golden syrup in them.
Nikau- I shared with biscuit with my cousin Levi.
Cooper- I shared with my biscuit with my brother and sister. I shared my next biscuit with my Dad at rugby practice.
Benji- I hope I make more anzac biscuits at home.
Izzy- My biscuit tasted yummy.
Olivia-I liked when I mixed the butter.
Nirvana- My biscuit was yummy because it tasted good.
Patrick R-I liked my biscuit.
Stuart- I liked my biscuit. I didn't share my biscuit. I loved it too much.
Kyla- I liked my biscuit because it was crunchy, yummy and delicious.
Kora- I liked my biscuit because it was really yummy.
Emelia- I liked the biscuit because it was crunchy.
Michael-I hope I can make more biscuits at home to share with my family.
Shanelle-My biscuit is in my lunch box.

Bella-I didn't get to make biscuits but I still got one. I made an anzac basket.
Ellie- I put one ingredient in. It was the coconut.
Matt-I saw the bubbles go up because we put in the baking soda.
Zack-I thought my biscuit was squishy.
Muhammad- I made anzac biscuits.
Laine- I thought my biscuit was squishy.
Jayden-I shared my biscuit with my friend Jackson.

Learning about China

Hot cross buns


We made Hot cross buns. We wrote about what we did.


I put the sugar in the mixture and I like the sugar. I made a basket and I put the hot cross bun in. Shanelle

First we put the milk powder into make hot cross buns to put in a little basket. Michael got to take pictures because he sat up nicely. I liked when I made the basket because it was fun. I liked when we made the hot cross buns. It was fun when we made the cross. I liked when we watched the mixer mix the ingredients go around. Matt

First we put it in the bread maker. I got to put in the ingredients. I got to taste the ingredients. I made my hot cross bun into balls. I made a basket and I made a cross. Ellie

First I put the oil in. I tasted the sugar and it tasted good. Michael took the photos. I made a circle for my hot cross bun. I made a basket for my hot cross bun. I made a cross for my hot cross bun. Imogen

We made the dough into balls by rolling it in our hands. Kaleb
Then we put the balls on the tray and left them in Mrs Miller's office because they needed to rise in a warm place.


We rolled pastry to make crosses so we could put them on the buns.
Mrs Clark put the hot cross buns into the oven so they could cook.


We made Easter baskets to put our hot cross buns in.
They tasted yummy, delicious, nice and scrumptious!
